This tool could be useful in conducting interviews for digital history. It's an easy to use web browser audio-editor. It's free and I can see this going really well.

Another cool piece of tech where you can edit and manipulate audio without the a traditional DAW or even the necessary knowledge that would come with it, would look at it as an introduction to that world of editing.
